This was the oriental store we’d go to during my childhood, we would get all of our essentials here and have made wholesome interactions with the staff
These store owners are very kind and they’ve also helped invest in helping others in other countries . They extend help and all the while , still maintaining a store with a lot of inventory for the people in the community they serve. They’ve had this store for a long time and seeing people complain about a sign that says” keep an eye on your kids “ is pretty sad. They are trying to keep the store safe for other customers and also they have to upkeep their store and they’re not the youngest of people ! Some people just think they have the right to come in and do whatever they and their kids feel like without regard for anyone else’s comfort or feelings. This store is awesome and they have tons of different variety, even Durian fruit! Which I haven’t seen since living in the Philippines! I highly recommend this store and these store owners !
Very friendly owners! They carry a wide variety of goods from different Asian countries. We almost always find the products we are looking for that we became familiar with when living in Japan.
Figures that they were out of the one thing I went there for but I’m glad we went. We’ll stocked, clean, very helpful staff and I found others items I was looking for and some interesting food items to try out. I would highly recommend this nice store.
The gentlemen working there helped me pick the perfect plum sauce for my chaliapin steak don rice bowl. Had a wide variety of items and some my favorite snacks. Highly recommend and as a chef i will be back for some more ideas!!!
I love coming here. With the stuffed shelves, adventurous looking fruits and veggies extensive frozen food cases, and exhotic smells, I still was able to find my favourite sweet chili sauce amongst what looked like more similar products. The gentleman and his wife are still running the market but double check their hours. They open at noon. Easier parking at the short end of the block rather than on busy 27th street.
